“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside awakens.”

-Carl Jung

Philosophy

Here’s what I believe: Your emotionality is one of your greatest resources. When we can understand our emotions as information, not instructions, we have access to all of the rich insights they provide to us about ourselves and the world around us. This is information such as how we might want to proceed in a challenging situation, where our boundaries lie, what we want and what we value. Learning to uncover and work with our feelings means that we gain access to a rich, new understanding of how we tick and how to care for ourselves in a way that best supports us in living lives that are as full and vibrant as possible, while minimizing the impact of stress, anxiety and other taxing experiences.

As a counselor, I strive to create a space for you to be heard with out judgement. I have a passion for listening and celebrating individual uniqueness, and offer an authentic space to explore who you are. My goal is to integrate a tailored therapeutic approach to inspire hope, find balance, and renew empowerment in your life. Counseling is an opportunity to slow down, tune in, and explore your internal landscape.

Therapy isn't a passive experience that happens "to" you, it's an active, ongoing relationship that you enter into with yourself and your therapist that requires a commitment and an investment of time, energy and resources. Wellness and happiness are intertwined and dedicated therapy is an optimal place to evolve and welcome wellness into your life. Through this dedication, I've witnessed clients undergo profound and lasting life changes during the course of our time together- that's the magic of creating time and space for yourself to be witnessed by someone that you trust.

Together, we will have conversations to discover self-awareness and encourage healing through a collaborative effort of mind-body-commnuity wellness. It takes courage to seek help, I feel honored to do this work and to treat your vulnerability with care, presence, and respect.
